From Lech to Formarinsee lake and into the Klostertal valley
The Formarinsee lake route is roughly 31 kilometres long if you set off from Pension Daniel in Lech and choose the same route to get back. Anyone who has conquered this route to Formarinsee lake is rewarded with a breathtaking view. After a stop at the wonderful mountain lake, the route back can lead via the Freiburger Hütte inn into the Klostertal valley or directly back to the starting point in Lech.
The Spullersee lake tour
The Spullersee lake tour is a stunning circular path. You conquer roughly 700 metres difference in altitude over roughly 27 kilometres. The routes starts in Lech, leads via the Zugertal valley toll road directly to Spullersee lake and via the Stierlochjoch pass back to the starting point in Lech again.

Pension Daniel is situated right on one of the many Transalp routes to Lake Garda in Italy. However, professional mountain bikers are not just on this trail year after year. The Warth to Körbersee lake trail
This moderate trail leads via Oberlech to the picturesque Körbersee lake, which can only be reached through a passage where you have to push or carry your bike for about 10 minutes though. From the lake you then head over the Hochtannberg pass and via Warth to Lech back to the starting point.
From the Kriegerhorn to Zuger Tobel
This route leads fit mountain bikers up the Kriegerhorn. To reach the trail's highest point you ride via Oberlech and the Grubenalpe to the Kriegeralpe. This challenging tour is rewarded with a unique view and adventurous downhill via the Zuger Tobel and Zug back to Lech.
The Karhorn circuit
The Karhorn circular trail is also more suitable for fit cyclists and leads from the Hochtannberg pass to the Auenfelder Hütte. You then head via a narrow and challenging climb to the lower Gaisbühel-Alpe, which impresses with its magically beautiful view over the Karhorn. A slightly uphill trail leads via Bürstegg to a wonderful panoramic view. With the last climb up towards the Saloberkopf you reach the tour's highest point at roughly 2,000 metres altitude. The route back leads via the Salobersattel anticline to the Hochtannberg pass.
Training routes for marathon cyclists
Pension Daniel is also an ideal starting point for the various marathon training routes over the Hochtannberg, Damüls, Fashina or Furka passes. The route through the Lechtal valley via the Hahntennjoch pass to Imst and Arlberg and the route from Paznaun via the Silvretta and Flexen pass to Lech are also signposted and popular training routes for marathon cyclists.
